Dear Friends, Colleagues and Neighbours,

RE: Soho Public Toilet Project

The Soho Neighbourhood Forum (SNF), in co-operation with The Soho Society, has engaged research and communications consultants Orbitl, and urban planning specialists Crystal Associates, to conduct a major study into the need for, and feasibility of additional provision of public toilet facilities in Soho, specifying the type, proposed locations and cost estimates for such provision, including recommendations as to where the SNF Steering Group should invest its Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds in said facilities, with the aim of encouraging both the private sector and Westminster City Council to supplement these.

As part of this exercise, Orbitl and Crystal Associates will be conducting an extensive programme of research among Soho residents, businesses and visitors to the area, including in-depth interviews, focus groups and a quantitative survey, to determine current attitudes/behaviours and business/quality of life impacts of the current level of provision.

In order to ensure that this research is as comprehensive and as accurate as possible, we are asking residents and business owners/managers to kindly spare whatever time they have available to engage with and assist in this process, the results of which will be presented to the public and Westminster City Council in the coming months.

To have YOUR say, please leave your contact details by clicking on this link, indicating whether you are a resident, business owner/manager, or both, so that we may contact you with further information on how you can take part in this endeavour.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation and assistance, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Yours sincerely,
