Updates about the Plan

Various milestones for our plan and those it relates to are here at last. We agreed with Westminster City Council a Statement of Common Ground on the draft Soho Neighbourhood Plan for the Independent Examiner to consider and decide on. The Independent Examiner has now issued her draft report agreeing the final modifications to be made and recommending that the Plan proceeds to referendums. She has asked that her draft report is fact checked by us and WCC to ensure there are no errors of fact and it will then be issued. Great news! The draft Plan has been submitted to Westminster Council

Plan for Soho are excited and pleased to announce that the draft neighbourhood plan has now been submitted to Westminster City Council! The council will then start the processes needed to get the Plan approved and then into force. We would like to thank you to all our members, especially the Forum Steering Group for all the ideas and help in getting us this far. Get Involved! Westminster City Council opens the Future of Oxford Street Public Consultation

Westminster City Council has opened a new consultation on its proposals for a revised Oxford Street Strategy. Their new proposal features 96 projects across 87 spaces/streets identified, with major projects at Oxford Circus, Marble Arch, Cavendish Square. Westminster have earmarked £150 million over three years to support the realisation of the proposed plan.
